Registration deadline: 31 July 2009

Please follow these steps in order to register to SPIRE 2009 and reserve accommodation in the conference hotel Riekonlinna:

1. Download the registration form. The form is an Excel spreadsheet that has been tested to be compatible also with Openoffice and Gnumeric spreadsheet programs.
2. Fill in the form, except signatures, directly in a spreadsheet program. This is in order to ensure clarity: A faxed copy may have poor quality, making handwriting difficult to read.
   Note: The form contains parts where you should choose one out of several options (e.g. the registration fee that applies to you). Please specify your selection by emptying the cells of the non-selected options.
3. Print out the form and sign it.
4. Fax the filled and signed form to +358 3 3551 6070.
5. Send a notification email to the email address on bottom of this page. This enables us to check that all faxed registration forms have properly reached us.

We encourage you to make your travel arrangements as soon as possible. When planning your schedule, consider the following points:

• The conference begins on 25 August at 9:00 in the morning.
• Participants in a hurry may take the 18:30 19:20^* evening flight from Ivalo to Helsinki on 27 August. The conference will end early enough for this; you will not need to skip anything.
• Two workshops will be held on the day after the conference, 28 August.
